As usual.. summer vacation for my family means checking in a hotel.. it's near, it's hassle free, it's cheap, and best of all it's fun! 4 days and three nights really is "bitin"! The EDSA Shangrila Hotel.. probably one of the best hotels in Manila for me.. great rooms, great service, cool swimming pool, and it's near Megamall, Podium, Shang Mall etc. Spent those days just enjoying everything, imagining I'm actually out of town! Swimming, shopping, eating, relaxing.. that's what vacations are all about. No need to go far, a vacation part could be just around the corner, and Shangrila is one ideal place to unwind!

Nagpagupit din ako while in the hotel.. sa shangrila mall studio 56 ako nagpagupit! ang mahal! 300 ang gupit! shet!

Good Friday. Malls are closed, nowhere to go.. good thing I jogged at Baywalk earlier that friday morning and found out that the resaurants along baywalk will be open.. Figaro for one, is already open as early as 6 am.. So we decided to go to baywalk.. as expected on a good friday.. it was packed! Then after that afternoon coffee at figaro.. we went to seaside (the new oen just before blue wave) and it was packed as well, probably because all the restaurants in binondo are also close, it was like china town at seaside.. saw some friends and relatives there.. hahahahha!

Then came Easter Sunday.. it's tita Cindy's birthday on the 17th.. the whole clan went to tita Cindy's condo unit to celebrate with her.. and since it's a very very hot day.. we decided to have a dip in the clubhouse pool, then tambay tambay lang.. ubusin lahat ng red wine, white wine, champagne.. and just enjoy the company of my cousins.. bihira na kami magkita kaya dapat lubusin!
